Taawon (Welfare Association) is a non-profit, civic organization launched in Geneva in the year 1983, upon the initiative of a group of Palestinian business leaders and intellectuals. Taawon has become one of the largest organizations operating in Palestine and the diaspora camps in Lebanon, whereby it touches the lives of more than one million Palestinians on an annual basis, with half of these beneficiaries being women.

Bank of Jordan Renews Its Membership with Taawon for the 10th Consecutive Year

Ramallah – Bank of Jordan has renewed its membership with Taawon, providing generous support for its various programs as part of its commitment to corporate social responsibility and sustainable development in Palestinian communities.

Since 2015, Bank of Jordan has strengthened its partnership with Taawon, recognizing the organization’s vital role and the impact of its programs across the West Bank, including Jerusalem, Gaza, the 1948 territories, and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon.

Enhancing Rural Resilience: Empowering Women and Encouraging Children to Embrace Agriculture in Nablus

As part of the project "Enhancing the Resilience of Palestinian Households in Rural Communities in the West Bank through Livelihood and Protection Interventions", funded by Danish Muslim Aid and implemented by Taawon in partnership with the Agricultural Development Association (PARC), Nablus Governorate witnessed a series of impactful initiatives aimed at empowering women and fostering agricultural awareness among children.

Taawon Distributes 1,290 Food Parcels and Provides Vital Support to Hospitals in the West Bank

In response to the worsening humanitarian crisis in the West Bank, Taawon has launched an urgent relief campaign under the slogan “Together, We Persevere.” As part of the initiative, 1,290 food parcels have been distributed to families who have been displaced and severely affected by the ongoing aggression.
