The General Assembly is the highest authority in Taawon, consisting of 133 members who represent a distinguished group of Palestinian and Arab economic and intellectual leaders, in addition to 70 Friends of Taawon. The assembly convenes annually to review the organization’s work and approve its strategies, plans, and budget.
The Board of Directors is composed of 11 members elected by the General Assembly every three years. It is responsible for shaping the organization’s policies and strategies and reviewing its overall performance.
The Board oversees the organization’s activities through standing committees chaired by elected members of the General Assembly. These include the Audit and Compliance Committee, the Investment and Endowment Committee, and the Governance, Membership, and Nominations Committee, in addition to specialized working groups.
