Bushra Mukbil

Bushra Mukbil is the Executive Coordination Director at Taawon, where she works closely with the Director General to drive institutional priorities, strengthen executive coordination, and support effective governance and organizational performance. She leads executive planning and follow-up, oversees strategic initiatives, and facilitates coordination across the institution to ensure the effective execution of strategic objectives.

Bushra brings more than 20 years of experience in international development, humanitarian assistance, institutional strengthening, and strategic management. She has held senior positions with leading international organizations, including the World Bank in Washington, D.C., the Office of the United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process (UNSCO), and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Palestine. She also served as Head of the Local Aid Coordination Secretariat (LACS), where she led the implementation of the national aid coordination structure, strengthening coordination among the Palestinian Authority, development partners, and international stakeholders.

Her expertise spans executive coordination, strategic planning, partnerships, resource mobilization, governance, and organizational transformation. She holds a Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., with a concentration in Foreign Policy and International Security , and has completed executive training in international development, humanitarian assistance, and strategic communications.
