Taawon (Welfare Association) Announces Collaboration Charter with Agence Française de Développement and the Consulate General of France in Jerusalem

Taawon (Welfare Association) has signed a Collaboration Charter with Agence Française de Développement (AFD) and the Consulate General of France in Jerusalem, opening a new framework for cooperation across key development priorities for Palestinian communities.

The Charter identifies areas of cooperation across Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem, including health, water, cultural heritage, youth empowerment, innovation, and humanitarian response. It also creates opportunities for practical exchange and shared initiatives, including examples such as the Artist Studio in Paris.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to supporting Palestinian communities and advancing sustainable development through meaningful partnership. It also brings together common priorities in ways that can widen the scope for coordinated action across sectors of shared importance.

The Collaboration Charter was signed by Dr. Tareq Emtairah, Director General of Taawon (Welfare Association); Véronique Sauvat, Country Director of Agence Française de Développement; and Sébastien Mosneron Dupin, Head of Cooperation at the Consulate General of France in Jerusalem.
