In response to the growing challenges facing Palestinian farmers, Taawon provided the Raba Village Council in the Jenin governorate with a set of automatic olive harvesters to support local farmers during the olive harvest season.
The initiative was implemented in coordination with the Directorate of Agriculture in South Jenin, which identified priority needs to ensure that support reaches the most affected farmers, particularly those in Area C where access to land is often limited by Israeli restrictions and settler intimidation.
This intervention goes beyond providing tools. It helps preserve the olive tree as a living symbol of Palestinian resilience and sustains agriculture as a key source of income and dignity for farming families. It also strengthens rural economies and reinforces the social bonds that hold Palestinian communities together.
Through this effort, Taawon reaffirms its continued commitment to standing with Palestinian farmers and preserving agriculture as both a livelihood and a cornerstone of Palestinian identity and heritage.
