Together for Palestine: A Global Night of Music and Solidarity for Gaza’s Children

London | September 14, 2025
On September 17, London will host one of the largest cultural and humanitarian events for Palestine in recent history. Together for Palestine will gather over 10,000 people in a powerful display of solidarity, uniting global artists, public figures, and communities around a single purpose: to stand with Gaza’s children and help deliver lifesaving aid.
Funds raised from the concert will go directly to Palestinian-led organizations working on the ground, including Taawon. A share will support Noor, Taawon’s long-term initiative for orphaned children in Gaza. Noor now cares for more than 20,000 children who have lost a parent —or both— in the war, offering food, clothing, medical care, education, and psychosocial support. It is a lifeline designed to protect childhood and build a future rooted in dignity.
“This is more than a concert. It is a moment of truth,” said Dr. Nabil Hani Qaddumi, Chairman of Taawon’s Board of Directors. “It brings global attention to the human cost of this war and reminds the world of our shared responsibility to protect children and preserve life.”
“For more than forty years, Taawon has stood with Palestinian communities through education, health, culture, and urgent relief,” said Dr. Tareq Emtairah, Director General of Taawon. “Together for Palestine is more than a concert. It is a moment to amplify voices that are too often silenced. The support raised will help us sustain Noor, our eighteen-year commitment to children in Gaza who have lost a parent or both parents in this war, and it will remind every Palestinian child that they are not invisible to the world.”
The timing could not be more urgent. Entire neighborhoods in Gaza lie in ruins. Families have been uprooted, schools turned into shelters, and hospitals left on the brink of collapse. Thousands of children have been killed, injured, or orphaned. Every day, Palestinian humanitarian workers risk their lives to reach survivors with food, water, medicine, and protection.
Support from Together for Palestine will help sustain initiatives like Noor, and strengthen Taawon’s broader efforts to keep education alive, bring health services to areas where clinics have been destroyed, and ensure that the right to learn, to heal, and to grow is not taken away.

Solidarity from people across the world, and especially from the UK, carries deep significance at this moment. The voices of younger generations are rising with urgency, demanding justice and dignity for Palestinians. Solidarity is not only expressed in fundraising. It is also reflected in the positions people take and the movements they build, both of which shape the response to the current crisis and lay the foundation for a more just future. For Taawon, art and culture are essential tools to raise Palestinian voices, to keep them present in global conscience, and to turn empathy into collective action.
“Art and music amplify Palestinian voices that might otherwise be silenced. They awaken global solidarity, sustain resilience, and call on the world to act, to change the unbearable circumstances our people live under, both in the short term and the long term,” said Watheq Saffarini, Director of Communications at Taawon.
“This event will go down in history as symbolic of the awakening that we are witnessing across the globe. There is no turning back. Although many of us attend with mixed emotions, I think we need to see our participation in this event as a form of resistance for and with those in Gaza. We need to remain steadfast and committed; the children of Gaza deserve nothing less,” said Louise Arimatsu, Chair of the Welfare Association UK, Taawon’s sister organization in Britain.
The concert will be streamed live on September 17 at 7:00 p.m. London time and 9:00 p.m. Jerusalem time. Global audiences are invited to tune in and take part in this moment of unity, remembrance, and action.
As Gaza continues to face unimaginable loss, this concert stands as a call for empathy, truth, and solidarity. Every child deserves to feel safe. Every family deserves to be seen. And every voice raised for Palestine brings us closer to a future grounded in justice and hope.
