Taawon Introduces Sign Language Accessibility Tool to Support the Deaf Community

Taawon has launched a new accessibility feature on its official website, aimed at empowering individuals from the deaf community to navigate the site and engage with its content more easily.
This step reflects Taawon's ongoing commitment to ensuring everyone’s right to access information—including persons with hearing disabilities—by making its website an open and inclusive space where users can explore the organization’s programs, projects, and activities without barriers.

The new feature relies on a “virtual sign language interpreter,” a technology that enables instant translation of written content into sign language, significantly enhancing comprehension and interaction for deaf users.

This service has been provided free of charge by Mind Rockets Inc., a specialized company focused on developing assistive technologies that promote the digital inclusion of people with disabilities. Their generous support contributes to Taawon’s mission to reach the widest possible audience and raise awareness of its efforts to strengthen the resilience of the Palestinian people.
