About the Program

Living Identity falls under Taawon’s strategic pillar “Building Resilient Communities.” It revives Palestinian cultural heritage through educational, artistic, and research-based activities, while building bridges between Palestinians in the homeland and the diaspora to strengthen belonging and pride in national identity.

Protecting National Identity

Strengthening the presence of Palestinian national identity among younger generations.

Reviving Heritage

Reviving tangible and intangible heritage, including language, folktales, embroidery, music, songs, traditional cuisine, and architecture.

Historical Awareness

Deepening Palestinian awareness of roots, history, and national rights.

Creativity & Connection

Strengthening bonds between Palestinians at home and abroad while creating platforms for youth expression.
