Taawon (Welfare Association) is a non-profit, civic organization launched in Geneva in the year 1983, upon the initiative of a group of Palestinian business leaders and intellectuals. Taawon has become one of the largest organizations operating in Palestine and the diaspora camps in Lebanon, whereby it touches the lives of more than one million Palestinians on an annual basis, with half of these beneficiaries being women.
Gaza Emergency Campaign: Providing 197,000 liters of drinking water to displaced individuals with support from Bank of Palestine.
As part of the Gaza Emergency Response campaign, we supplied 197,000 liters of drinking water to displaced families in 10 Shelters in northern Gaza over the past week. This was made possible with the generous funding and contribution of @Bank of Palestine |and through our field partner, the Agricultural Cooperative Association in Beit Hanoun.
