Taawon has announced the launch of the “Developing the Competencies and Skills of Palestinian Youth within Promising Sectors” project under the “Learn to Lead” program, with the aim of enhancing youth readiness to engage in the labor market by focusing on promising sectors in Palestine.
This project comes as one of the components of the “Learn to Lead” program, which seeks to empower youth to acquire the practical and professional skills needed to keep pace with labor market demands, through the provision of modern training programs based on short, accredited professional certifications (Micro-Credentials).
The project focuses on building practical and cross-sectoral skills, contributing to expanding employment opportunities for youth, and opening new horizons for local employment and integration into the global market.
The project also includes a set of tracks that cover:
- Developing skills related to promising sectors
- Providing accredited professional certifications
- Enhancing youth employability
- Linking participants with job opportunities and employers
Program team emphasized that this project represents a qualitative step within the efforts of the “Learn to Lead” program to invest in the capacities of Palestinian youth, and to support them in becoming active, capable of leadership and innovation across various fields.
