Taawon, in partnership with the Charitable Health Development Media Program, has completed the Right to Education project in the West Bank, expanding opportunities for both school and university students and advancing the values of equity and knowledge.
The initiative enabled 125 young people to continue their university education, easing the financial strain on their families and keeping dreams of graduation within reach. In schools, 936 students gained from more than 3,000 hours of tutoring in core subjects and life skills, improving not only academic performance but also self-confidence.
At the university level, over 900 students joined specialized workshops on scientific research, information technology, research ethics, social justice, and the right to education. These efforts generated concrete advocacy outcomes, including renewed calls to activate the National Student Support Fund.
The project also created 171 temporary jobs for teachers, trainers, and supervisors, supporting local livelihoods while strengthening skills within the education sector.
Through these efforts, Taawon and its partners reaffirm their commitment to safeguarding the right to education and opening doors for young Palestinians to continue their academic journey and build a better future despite the challenges.
