PAMA Partners with Taawon and JAPA to Provide Urgent Humanitarian Aid to Orphans in Gaza

June 10, 2025 -- The Palestinian American Medical Association (PAMA) has joined forces with the Jordanian American Physicians Association (JAPA) and Taawon (Welfare Association)in a vital effort to support orphaned children in Gaza, committing $1.3 million to Taawon's Noor program. This funding provides essential services, including food, clothing, healthcare, psychosocial support, and education, to 900 children who have lost their families due to the ongoing crisis.
Through this partnership, PAMA and JAPA are not only offering immediate relief but also ensuring long-term support for these vulnerable children. The organizations' roles extend beyond financial aid; they actively collaborate with Taawon in monitoring and evaluating the program to guarantee transparency, accountability, and the highest standards of delivery.
Dr. Mustafa Musleh, President of PAMA, emphasized the organization's deep commitment to Palestinian children, stating:
"At PAMA, we believe that every child deserves a chance to heal and flourish, especially in times of immense hardship. This partnership with Taawon reflects our unwavering dedication to providing critical humanitarian support. Together, we are not just offering aid---we are restoring hope, dignity, and the promise of a better future."
Taawon's Director General, Dr. Tareq Emtairah, underscored the urgency of this collaboration, adding:
"The devastating impact of this war has left countless children orphaned and unprotected. With PAMA's generous support, we can extend a lifeline to these children, ensuring they receive the care and stability they so desperately need."
