Founded in Geneva in 1983 by a group of Palestinian business leaders and intellectuals, Taawon (Welfare Association) was created to invest in the development of Palestinian society — wherever it lives.
Today, we are one of the largest Palestinian non-profits in the world, working across the West Bank, Jerusalem, Gaza, the 1948 territories, and the diaspora camps in Lebanon — half of those we serve are women.
