Taawon (Welfare Association) is a non-profit, civic organization launched in Geneva in the year 1983, upon the initiative of a group of Palestinian business leaders and intellectuals. Taawon has become one of the largest organizations operating in Palestine and the diaspora camps in Lebanon, whereby it touches the lives of more than one million Palestinians on an annual basis, with half of these beneficiaries being women.

Your donation allows Taawon to deliver on its mission and will support our projects and campaigns, toward furthering the progress of Palestinians, preserving their heritage and identity, supporting their living culture and building civil society. It aims to achieve these goals by methodically identifying the Palestinian people’s needs and priorities and establishing the soundest mechanisms to maximize the benefits from the available funding resources.
In a bid to further enhance the capabilities and creative thinking of children, Taawon in collaboration with Save the Children-Palestine and with the support of Bank of Palestine and the Hajj Hashem Atta Al-Shawa Charitable Endowment Fund, held the Wajd Students Hackathon.
Aimed at addressing the needs of communities and rural areas, PARC, in collaboration with Welfare Association (Taawon), announced the successful completion of the second phase of the "Olive Trees for Palestine" program.
