Taawon and the Munib & Angela Masri Foundation have signed an agreement to provide an annual grant in support of Taawon’s Noor Program—Gaza Orphans Care. The agreement was signed at Taawon’s headquarters in Amman by Dr. Tareq Emtairah, Director General of Taawon, and Mr. Munib R. Masri, Founder of the Munib & Angela Masri Foundation and Co-Founder and Honorary President of Taawon.

Supporting the steadfastness of our people in Gaza, the first batch of operational aid has been delivered to Gaza Municipality. This delivery includes spare parts for engineering machinery, generators for powering water wells and sewage pumping stations, and essential components for water networks, which technical teams will use to repair infrastructure damaged by attacks on Gaza City's water and sewage systems. This initiative is being carried out in partnership with the Palestinian Environmental Friends (PEF).

Despite the tough conditions in Gaza, support continues to reach those in need.

Funded by our sister organization, Welfare Association (UK), and Amos Trust, hot meals were delivered to 8,000 displaced families in Nuseirat over ten days, in partnership with the Social Development Forum and Sunbird Group. Under the management of Taawon – Jerusalem Old Cities Revitalization Program, and supervised by the Nablus Municipality, the Dr. Azzam Sadiq Kanaan School has officially opened in the Old City of Nablus, offering new opportunities for girls' education‏.

Noor Program "Gaza’s Orphan Care Program" has officially begun its support, providing essential humanitarian aid including food parcels, clothing for children from newborns to 17 years old, nutritional supplements, milk, and health and hygiene supplies for orphaned infants. This initiative is implemented by Save the Children – Palestine, Fares Al Arab for Development and Charity Works, and Gaza Culture and Development Group.

Over 16,000 orphans who lost their parents during the recent war on Gaza will benefit from these efforts.
